BARISTA'S BREW WISDOM

  1. Coffees with notes of chocolate, caramel, or fruit are excellent choices.
  2. Choose a coarse grind . Too fine a grind can result in an over-extracted and bitter cold brew.
  3. Experiment with different coffee-to-water ratios to find the strength you prefer.
  • 1. Weigh Your Coffee

Use a scale to measure your coffee beans. We typically use a 1:7 ratio.

  • 2. Grind the Beans

Aim for a coarse grind, resembling coarse sea salt

  • 3. Prepare the Beans

Place your French Press on the scale, zero it, and add the premeasured coffee grinds.

  • 4. Add Water

Fill the French Press with room-temperature water. Stir to ensure all the grounds are wet.

  • 5. Steep Time

Cover the French Press and let it steep for 12-13 hours at room temperature.

  • 6. Pour and Serve

After steeping, press the plunger down and pour the cold brew into a large jar or carafe.

  • 7 .Enjoy

Refrigerate and enjoy your cold brew over ice!
